Lake & Skye Adds To Numerical Fragrance Franchise with 222

With notes of almond blossom, bergamot, cashew, vanilla cream and sugarcane, the fresh gourmand is housed in the brand’s first frosted bottle.

When numerology enthusiasts casually notice “222” on clocks, license plates and building façades, astrology says it’s a universal cue to believe in divine timing and righteousness in one’s path.

Indie vegan perfume brand Lake & Skye bottled this comforting sentiment in a new juice.

“222 is about trusting the process,” said Lake & Skye Founder Courtney Somer. “Trusting where you are in life so that you don’t have to rush forward; that it’s not somewhere else you need to be. It’s right where you are and exactly where you need to be.”

Scent & Bottle Design

Unlike the brand’s 11 11 line, whose star ingredients are white musk and amber to “center” users, 222—crafted by the brand’s longtime perfumer, Roberet—is said to be a “nurturing” scent that encourages the selfless to pour energy back into themselves.

With notes of almond blossom, bergamot, cashew, vanilla cream and sugarcane, the fresh gourmand juice is housed in the brand’s first frosted bottle. The new look reflects the scent’s frothy note.

According to Daniela Amaya, senior evaluator for Robertet, the cocooning elements of 222 blend nicely with the idea of taking a moment for oneself.

“The idea was your skin, but better,” she said.
